from Saturn In The Mirror by Filthy Grin

/

about

I developed a nerve condition, which led to numbness in my right hand and at the time could only be fixed by having multiple surgeries I couldn't afford. I couldn't work, write with a pen, or twist a doorknob without breaking into a full sweat. It was the recession and I felt my incredible luck to have my friends, who helped me hold it together to push through. Arm's length is a sequence of recordings mixed together from the periods of time where I could use both my hands. One to drag the microphone across wood, concrete and air. The other to shift the tones hinted at by each surface.
